Shoutout to our first grade team: Ann Bingham, Lori Pitcher, Heather Wilcox, and Ashley Bluemel.
Ann Bingham has taught first grade for 8 years. Lori Pitcher has taught first grade for 4 years, with several years before that in kinder and 4th grade. This is Heather Wilcox's first year teaching first grade here, but she taught sixth grade here before that. Ashley Bluemel has taught first grade for 7 years, with several years before that in third, kindergarten, and second grades. All of them said that their favorite part of the job is watching the lightbulb moments of students learning to read. Lori said, "it's a magical moment."
